July 2, 2009 – Vol.14 No.15 Nexxus Lighting Receives Order for More Than 4,000 LED Lamps. The Charlotte, North Carolina-based producer of energy efficient lighting systems received the order from Debenhams department stores of the UK. The Array (tm) LED lamps are to be installed in their flagship Dublin store as part of Debenhams ongoing commitment to responsible energy management. An initial order of Array (tm) LED Lamps was installed in Debenham’s Waterford store recently and, upon positive feedback, the decision was made to place the order for over 4,000 additional Array™ LED lamps. The order represents a mix of Par 30, MR16 and G4 lamps. “The installation in the Waterford store was a huge success. The installation looked fantastic and we are extremely happy that Debenhams has decided to move forward with this next installation,” said Bill Blackley, Vice President of Nexxus Commercial Lighting. This project marks Nexxus’ launch of the new 230 volt, 50 Hz Array (tm) Par 30 lamp to the European market. The Array (tm) LED lamps are fully dimmable on most commercial dimmers; have a minimum rated life of 50,000 hours; and are one of the lightest retrofit lamp lines in the industry.
