Kingspan Solar Opens its First U.S. Office.

Kingspan Solar Inc., part of Kingspan Renewables Ltd, a division of Kingspan Group plc of the U.K., has opened its first U.S. office in Jessup, Maryland, near Baltimore.

Through the new facilty, Kingspan will be offering its Thermomax solar thermal vacuum tube collectors. Generating hot water for domestic and commercial applications, Thermomax was designed in Ireland and is used across the whole of Europe throughout a wide spectrum of weather conditions. The solar collector has almost 30 years of proven high performance, that’s up to 30% more effective than traditional flat plate panels according to the company. Its range of applications include domestic hot water, central heating support, under floor heating and solar cooling.

Kingspan Solar’s range of products will also include Thermomax FS flat panels, Kingspan Climate - the complete solar powered cooling system - and Kingspan Tribune, stainless steel quality hot water storage tanks. Kingspan Solar’s growing portfolio of products provides the full solar package that is custom-designed to suit each client’s specifications. It’s predicted that one of the most popular products for the US market will be the Kingspan Climate system which uses the power of the sun to cool a building. This state-of-the-art system is silent and can save homeowners 90% of the energy costs associated with traditional air cooling systems.
