Two models are now available 14” and 19.” Notable improvements to the line-up include stronger motors (500 watt, 24 volt, 32 amp in the 14 in. model and 750 watt, 36 volt, 50 amp in the 19 in. model) and heavy-duty steel Aero Blades. The drop in battery can be charged inside or outside of the mower. Bagging, mulching, and side discharge is now standard on both models. The mower housing and user controls have also been ergonomically designed to allow for easy adjustments and maximum maneuverability. Cut height can be easily adjusted from 1.2 in. to 3 in. with a single lever and the machines start and stop with a simple push-button and safety pull bar.
The 19 in. wide-cut Neuton (R) will tackle up to 1/3 of an acre on a single charge. The list price starts at $399 for the 14 in. model; $499 for the 19 in. model, with special introductory discounts currently available. The company offers a free six month trial, and a 2 year warranty on the mowers. There are over 100,000 NEUTON (R) owners. The first model was lauched in 2003.
