Nordex Returns to US Market.

Nordex USA has entered into an agreement with the US developer Everpower Renewables, of New York, for the delivery of 62.5 megawatts of wind turbine capacity. The delivery will mark a return to US sales after a multiyear absence.

The 25 N90/2500 kW turbines, to be delivered in summer 2008, are for the Krayn wind farm in Pennsylvania. The project, valued at around EUR 68 million ($ 100 million), is scheduled for completion in December.

Everpower Renewables is a developer of utility grade large scale energy projects. Its regional focus is on the North East and Mid Atlantic. It has wind projects of more than 1500 megawatts in the development pipeline.

Nordex, of Hamburg, Germany, is in the process of building production facilities in the U.S. during the next two years in order to be ready for further supplies to North America.

Nordex has installed a total of over 3,100 turbines with an aggregate capacity of more than 3,500 MW (as of November 2007). Exports account for around 80 percent of its business. The Company has offices and subsidiaries in 18 countries around the world.(1/8/08)
