BP Solar Home Solutions Offer at Home Depot Stores Expanded to Colorado and Texas.

Home improvement outlets of The Home Depot chain in metropolitan Denver and Boulder areas in Colorado as well as stores in Austin, Texas now sell complete, installed solar electric home power systems.

BP Solar and The Home Depot are expanding availability to other areas of the country where incentives have made solar electric power more accessible and affordable to a wide range of consumers. BP Solar Home Solutions program has been available since 2004 in The Home Depot stores in California, New Jersey and Long Island, New York where incentives for solar energy are available.

In Colorado, Xcel Energy electric customers can register to receive about 50 percent off the purchase price of a solar electric system through rebates and incentives from Xcel Energy’s Solar Rewards Program. In the Denver and Boulder areas 20 stores will sell BP Solar products,

Austin homeowners receiving their electric power from Austin Energy can receive about 50 percent off the purchase price of a solar electric system through rebates and incentives. (9/10/07)
