THE BUSINESS OF OCEAN ENERGY.

With the strongest tidal flows and the best wave energy resources in Europe, the UK wants to become the world center of ocean energy research, development and industry.

Working towards the goal of building an ocean energy industry, the UK Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has committed GBP 50 million ($ 92 million) to help build an ocean energy industry particularly in Scotland where the ocean energy resources are the strongest.
