OF POLITICS AND OCEAN ENERGY.

The flow of energy can provide comfort, increase productivity and build economies. It can also be cause for greed, corruption, even war. No wonder politics and energy are so intertwined.

Fortunately, renewable energy is viewed more for its positive attributes than its negative.

With elections looming on the horizon once again in the U.S., Ann Marie Harmony, Executive Director and CEO of Practical Ocean Energy Management Systems (POEMS) has presented ocean energy as a candidate plank to the Reform Party of California (RPCA). The party will vote on the platform at their state convention this week which reads, ” The RPCA will support and promote the use of our State’s and Country’s ocean waters as a clean energy producing source”.

The results of the Party vote are unknown at the time of publication. Visit POEMS at http://www.poemsinc.org/ .
