WARMEST WORLD IN 2000 YEARS.
According to a study published in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, the planet is now warmer than when Christ was alive. And in the last 20 years the world has warmed by as much as 0.2 degrees Celsius.
While some skeptics still claim that an increase in the Sun’s radiation is causing the warming, and that evidence proves regions on the planet were once warmer than they are now (the U.K was once tropical, for instance) the authors of the report say that overall, on the whole, on average, the world is warmer now than in 2000 years. And the problem is us.
The scientists Professor Philip Jones of the University of East Anglia, UK and Professor Michael Mann of the University of Virginia are authors of the report. The study is based on ice core samples from Antarctica and Greenland as well as tree rings, and historical data.
