TOYOTA’S NEXT GENERATION HYBRID.

R.L. POLK, in a few years, will add another hybrid to its list of green vehicles in the U.S. market, the Lexus RX 330 with Hybrid Synergy Drive. In the Lexus SUV the Synergy Drive will feature a V-6 internal combustion engine with front and rear electric motors to provide four-wheel drive and the fuel efficiency of a compact car, according to Toyota.

Toyota says Synergy Drive is adaptable to broad range of vehicle platforms and will help the company put 300,000 hybrid vehicles on the road each year by the middle of this decade. Visit Toyota (media) at http://pressroom.toyota.com/
