NEW SOLAR ROOFING.
What if the roof on your building begins to leak and needs replacement? What if, in the process of selecting a contractor, one also offered to install solar power in the process of re-roofing? That’s the vision of Bekaert ECD Solar (UNI-SOLAR (tm) products); to make the installation of solar electricity as commonplace as installing new roofing material.
To advance the Bekaert ECD vision the company has announced a strategic alliance with Solar Integrated Technologies to combine UNI-SOLAR’s flexible solar electric laminates with Solar Integrated Technologies single-ply roofing membranes for the Southern California market. Solar Integrated will attempt to sell the building-integrated solar products through a network of Certified Master Contractors. The single-ply membrane/solar laminate product is intended for low-pitched commercial roofs. Visit Bekaert ECD at: http://ovonic.com/
