GENERATING HYDROGEN SALES.

The most recognized name in fuel cells Ballard, along with partner Ford, will begin selling a hydrogen fueled internal combustion engine (ICE) generator by the end of the year.

The generator to be sold under Ballard’s Ecostar brand uses a standard 6.8 liter production engine modified to run on hydrogen. The generator will be marketed initially to utilities for peak power applications and is meant to be an alternative to small gas turbine or diesel generators.
