CONNECTING - GREEN IDEAS, GREEN INVESTMENT.

Any business - including those green - needs money to start-up and grow. But there is a long and exasperating process for the businessman, the entrepreneur, the inventor, the scientist or the engineer to convince the right person or the right company to finance his idea, his dream, his invention.

A new company has been formed to help match those with a green idea and green business plan with those with the money to back them - Cleantech Venture Network. Though not a venture capital firm, the purpose of the firm is to use a variety of methods to introduce green companies to green investors.

Beyond green energy technologies, Cleantech also includes other technology areas such as water purification and biodegradable materials in its scope of interest.
