HYBRID PACKAGE DELIVERY TRUCKS.

When BAE SYSTEMS bought portions of Lockheed Martin it also received Lockheed’s HybriDrive (tm) system in the deal.

Now being used in 10 city buses in New York, and with 325 on order, BAE will develop a prototype HybriDrive hybrid electric truck for FedEX Express.

The prototype, to be delivered in September of this year, is part of a FedEX program to determine the next standard configuration for its delivery trucks. That standard that will be to cut fuel consumption by 50 percent and reduce toxic emissions up to 90 percent. Visit BAE SYSTEMS at http://www.lmcontrolsystems.com/ .
